Many members here live near water, so that means not only are they on the highways burning rubber.....they are also creating wake on rivers, lakes, and oceans. Let's post pictures of them here.

If you are modded, going crazy fast on the water, share your mod list. You may give others some ideas.

Here are my two.

2015 Kawasaki 310X SE - Riva speed control override, R&D intake grate, R&D ride plate, fully tightened waste gate, removed rear vent tubes - 70.2 mph (GPS verified)
2015 Yamaha FZS SVHO - Modified factory exhaust, otherwise stock - ran neck and neck with my 310X when I made the 70.2 mph pass

Now that is some water craft! I was just thinking how much I'd love to be on THAT water riding any one of those. I'm moving to Florida! LOL.

I used to have an 09 FZS, but now I spend all of my time(and money) on this:

Pursuit Denali 2460. Nothing fancy, but I love it.

Rollin the monies now?!!

Honestly, it's a cheaper hobby than a twin turbo Coyote.

Where is the wife in these photos, lol :coolman:

She wasn't with us on the perfect water day, but was lazy with me on another day.

Which do you like best? I'm about 3 weeks from buying one of those two.

You'll want to read this thread for my input on your question.

LINK

Short version, if you ride on the lake or river (glass smooth water). You'll want the Yamaha FZR or FZS. Only difference between the two is 2 seat vs. 3 seat and color/stickers. Performance is exactly the same otherwise. I chose the FZS 3 seater because it was offered in a blue/black color scheme. The 2 seater FZR was red with white stickers only. NO thanks, don't do red.

If you ride on choppy ocean or intercoastal waters, buy the Kawasaki 310 and add simple mods (SCOM, Sponsons, R&D Ride Plate, Candoo GPS). Leave the intake grate stock. I chose the 310X SE because the orange was AWESOME. However, if you like their infamous Kawasaki green, opt for the 310R. Don't become seduced by the 310X LX built in Jet Sounds (factory stereo). You can't hear it over 35 mph and will turn off 3 minutes after you kill the engine.

2011 Sea Doo RXP-X

I had my first supercharged Jet Ski experience on a 2006 RXP and RXT in the summer of 2008. That made me WANT one for myself. At the time, I was not able to buy one, but now I'm making up for it.

I see you have modded it. What have you done, and how fast is your GPS speed?

In the kitchen...:D

I asked her how she fit all that water and 2 skis in the kitchen.

Haven't molded a love for boats yet. Perhaps that will happen in my 50's when my body can't take the punishment of choppy water on the skis.

100% stock. Says 70 on the speedo but that's probably a couple mph high.

I have a '13 RXP-X, and a 14 GTX Limited

I am currently building the Ultimate Jetski attachment. A lightly used ShuttleCraft Sports Deck, that I am throwing the full customizing treatment to. I machined aluminum rings to bond to the hull for the JL audio system that is going in. 5Ch Amp, Honda Generator, Ipad in Lifeproof + double arm ram mount for Navigation. Painted to match the GTX limited once I am done with the work, along with matching seat/deck cushions.

I have a 2007 250 Ultra that has only seen the water once a year since the first couple of years that we owned it. With the supercharger it is fast but just not what I like doing.
We spend all our time on our 2012 Malibu MXZ. That is where you will find me every weekend from Memorial day to after Labor day.

Yes, the speedo wheels are inaccurate. My FZS will display 75-76 on the speedo when I'm only going 69-70. Have another Candoo GPS module on the way to fix that.

That's one neat project. Had no idea a ski attachment existed for entire family fun.

Yes, car is sold. Bought the 310X before it sold and the FZS after it sold. When you move back, let me know. Buy a ski for you and the family so we can all get out on the water.

That's a nice Ski boat though. I'm not into water skiing or wake boarding, but love Jet Skiing.

The Skis, the Larger Grey one ('14 GTX Limited 260) is what will be pushing the ShuttleCraft.

Still have my 2011 Yamaha FZS, but sold my 07' Superjet and 09' Kawi SXR-800 last year. Both were awesome and super fun to ride...but also quite exhausting and a total body workout. It was hilarious trying to teach my friends how to ride them.

Both stand-ups were highly modded and could completely jump out of the water if you pinned the throttle. My FZS is mostly stock, just changed out the intake grate for a R&D.

I also have a Hobie Tandem Island and a 25' Excursion Tri-toon.

They are not made any more, and they made very few of the SportDeck version. It's a niche market where most people would just choose a small boat or jetboat. But I wanted the ability to beach, anchor it and pull my ski out to mess around while having a floating music/cooler/sun deck platform. The goal is to use it to explore all of the keys, find uninhabited key beaches and set up canopy, grill on the boat, etc.

Check out "Sealver Wave Boat" they are the current Jetski powered boat maker, but they look expensive.
