My SVT Focus has more HP than your Cobra, but I was referring to my beater Escort. lol

I agree with what you are saying, trust me. But that list is mostly comprised of items that fail regardless of HP level.

I am very VERY impressed at 316k miles. I applaud you for sticking with it, especially after multiple cylinder heads issues, transmission pulls, etc.

Your car has gone through a lot of parts, but it has a lot of miles on it.

no need to worry! every car is different! i bought my cobra used a few years back with around 55-60k miles on it. the car is my year round DD, and has been since i have owned it. it has a 2.8 upper, JLT RAI, steeda cat-back, and BAMA tune (which i put on when i got it...it WAS stock)....and now has right around 115k miles on it. i have had NO major engine issues, or ANY engine issues at all for that matter (knock on weed). these cars are TANKS!

i chashed that HICUP,,,for 200k...after installing the new head i was:shrug:damn hicup,,i found it 20k+ miles after head change

after i changed the coils just this last summer,, the HICUP was gone

now it runs like it should,,but car cant take it...

we thought it pulled ok for stock before coil change,,after it was like adding 200hp...now you feel the power thru the whole car...

big difference is all i can say,,,
