So I just picked up a DSG 03 Cobra and am thinking about taking off the spoiler but want to see what it looks like first. Does anyone have any pics of 03/04s without a spoiler? Anyone know if its hard to do and how many holes it leaves? Thanks

Leave it on, the 03/04 cobra spoiler is by far the best look on any 99-04 stang

It leaves a huge indention underneath from where it mounts. It's bad! Would be eaiser to swap with another decklid that has no wing.

As others have said, leave it on... especially since you'll be missing the 3rd brake light as it is part of the trunk if it is spoilerless from the factory.

well to answer your question it's 5 holes and it indents where they where drilled. also like what was already mentioned you need a third brake light off of an 99-04 GT to replace the one you are losing. I went thru a sh*t load of trouble locating a cobra spoiler for my GT because they are awesome. DON'T take the spoiler off that gorgeous car!

I think 03-04 Cobras look great without spoilers. They need the right wheels/tires and stance to pull it off though.
It just looks like a bullitt without the spoiler.
the car just looks somewhat neutered without one.
I like the 03/04 Cobra spoiler, but I don't care that car would look badass with a drop. When done right New Edge Mustangs look very good without rear spoilers
