Not my blower, but they are my pics :-D
Here is what I did for the 6.0L LS I'm building for my '02 Yukon (Still under construction). My truck is painted two tone, hence my name Copper&Black, I wanted my my engine & supercharger to match the top color of the truck so I order color matched engine enamel (over the phone) from Tower Paint, in OshKosh WI. I ordered enough primer, color matched paint and clear all in ready to spray in aerosol cans.
It went like this...
Prep, Prime, Sand, Prime, Sand, Paint, Paint, Clear, Clear
Pics...
(The lights make it seem more orange then it looks in person in some of the pictures)
So is this high temp paint of some sort? Or is it not needed?
Yup, it is all high temp engine enamel. It needs to be high temp, standard paint would blister up.

Wow! Well done! I like the Iron Fist Lead Foot stencil. :thumbsup:
I just removed the factory paint, sprayed with self etching primer, and then painted. The finish of the paint came out really nice so i didn't bother using a clearcoat.
Unfortunately i dont have any close ups of it. I sold the eaton and bought a 2.9 whipple shortly after i painted it.
