UPS delivered my Saleen grill today. What a disapointment! This is definately not a $200 grill. It has excessive mold flashing, dips and bumps along the bottom edge that should be nice and smooth and rough around the side edges too. I guess it would look good from a distance but it won't be going on my car, I will be returning it and keeping my stock grill in place.

I would not recomend buying one.

I was never impressed with the fit and finish of any Saleen body part !

Hey Brian. I have heard that in the past about the body parts. I just wrote Saleen and expressed my disappointment with the quality.:nonono:

I just mounted a Saleen grill on a buddies car yesterday, what a pile of junk! The fitment is terrible and in person up close it looks like a $20 eBay China grill! I am very happy that I went with a Roush grill, much better quality!

Other than obvious quality here, whats the difference between the Roush and Saleen grills?

The Roush uses your existing grill frame and mounts inside. Its made of powdercoated aluminum instead of ultra thin plastic. So you have the best of both worlds, OEM fitment and aftermarket styling.

Thanks! Did some research and I def like the look of the Roush better. I always thought they were the same, man was I wrong in assuming that. Thanks for this post I would have been extremely disappointed I think ordering the saleen grill

I have to agree here!! I had the saleen grille on my 2010 and yes I will admit the fitment suckeddddd and I was pissed that it had to be held on with fudgen POS clips that never worked, but it is a mean looking grille!!! I recently just sold it on another forum and it was in great shape after being on my car for 6 months!

I don't like the gap under the center at the bottom or how its nice and snug at only the ends.

i love the look of my Roush grill and bumper, but was not very pleased with the way you have to install it and i was thinking of selling it and getting the Saleen but now you have me thinking. David

the saleen grille comes with a plastic screw that you have the option of using to make the bottom flush with the bumper. Obviously he didn't use it.

I have the saleen grille as well and it definitely isn't the best quality but the looks make up for it. Plus Bbr had it for sale for $150 so the amount of money i saved buying it was worth it. I am in the market for some better clips since i wouldn't trust the ones that come with it at 160mph's.

I've debated on changing grills for over a year now. I painted my grill shell at one time and then replaced it back to black. I think they all look great, good to know about how cheap the Saleen is made. I'll either go with the BOSS or Roush...
