here's the best picture i have, it's not great.. I want to polish the exhaust and get tips, but i haven't had the time. My IRS has all the AC427 busings and a Billetflow brace.

I've got a few more if needed, but they aren't really direct rear shots like these mostly are.

I think all of Bruce's bushings/parts and a Billetflow IRS brace should be bare minimum for any IRS install.

Holy crap. What size tires are on the red one? I'm in love. Maybe its just the angle, but they look way bigger than 315s.

so why does everyone with a 03-04 cobra ditch the IRS for performance and we put it in?

I'm never in one place.
And bigger rubber:D How long did it take to do the swap?

Yes I will be going with bigger rubber. I would like to find a set of BBS RK's 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10 in the rear.

It took about 30 minutes after getting a hold of a transmission jack from a friend to be able to lift the IRS into place.

so why does everyone with a 03-04 cobra ditch the IRS for performance and we put it in?

Because they really aren't that bad. I guess it is what you plan to do with the car. I don't plan on racing mine anymore just go to shows and different stang events.

Because we all want what we don't have.

I can kind of see swapping an IRS into my car if I were really into corner carving but IMHO I would go with a watts link in the solid instead.

i just want an IRS because the exhaust looks bitchin after. not much of a good reason to spend all that money though.

that watts link won't be as comfy on the street as an irs would be.

Its a toss up for me as well.... Watts Link or get an IRS out of a 99-04 Cobra... just to have a nice stable/smooth street-highway car.

The tails coming up from under the IRS look nice as well!

True. But having the solid gives you some insurance as its stronger than the IRS. Plus the IRS weighs a bit more than the solid. If its a dedicated street car/daily driver than having the IRS wouldn't be a bad choice.

DAMN! Wasnt aware the sn95s could fit an IRS (though thats dumb of me to think that as the 99-04 share the same chassis). Oh well, all of the above look killer!
