And how is it not equal if I said ALL THINGS EQUAL?
Same car, weight, tires, suspension, etc........
Everything on the car with the exception of auto/Man.
IF ALL THINGS ELSE ARE EQUAL THE QUICKER 60 WILL OR WILL NOT BE HARDER IN THE TRANNY/DRIVELINE/ENTIRE CAR?
If all things are equal, who would win in a foot race; God or Beefcake?
To answer your question, it cannot possibly be equal - was my point.
It is 100% fact that a converter combo, regardless of transbrake, will apply less shock to the trans/driveline/entire car.
Again, a MT slick outperforms a Cooper street tire - but the Cooper street tire is more harsh on the entire driveline.
I apologize if you cannot see this, but it is true. As far as how I can relate to this, is simple. The amount of times I replace a customers LCA/UCA bushings when they run a slick....is almost never. With a harder compound, less effective tire (DR/Street-tire) I replace customers bushings every day of the year. That is because those tires are more harsh on the chassis/suspension/driveline.
You are correct if we are talking G-Force, or "force" in general - absolutely. A car that get's to the sixty-foot mark the quickest, ALL else being equal - will see more force. Force does not equate to "harder" or "more harsh" on the specific parts we are talking about, though.
