Car in vid is N/A. That's the crackle of a larger inch higher static CR NA V8. Sounds familiar to a header M156 or M159 6.2L/4v AMG V8.

It sounded NA for sure. At first I thought a hint of wastegate was tricking my ear though.

Ford could make an impressive na 7.0, but in all honesty, even an na 8.0 or 9.0 would not give the people their cake and allow them to eat it too. Part of the cult draw of these highway cars is juicing them up. I think it'll end up boosted.

The car could have been cold and been in a boost bypass mode if it has a hydraulicly driven sc. Didn't the sc benz models sound about like that when cold iirc, and bypassed boost on factory tuned when cold?

Edit: after watching e55 vids I remember how damn quiet the sc is. My bet is the engine is supercharged in the next cobra/gt500.

E55's sound balsier from the back than a 7.0l z06 at least from the racing videos I was just seeing. The sc force does something for exhaust velocity which in turn has to be helping the sound department. I think it's why am 03 cobra sounds much different than a mach1 even with similar/identical exhaust systems/irs swap and all. Don't get me wrong, the Mach has different cams and compression too though.

Yes it sounds NA. Has the crispness of NA CR. That said it could be PD blown and we just aren't hearing it. The quieter it is the more I lean towards a larger blower. That's definitely not a turbo car.

M113s aren't nearly that loud. With stock exhaust they are very quiet. E55 was one of the quietest cars I've ever had.

Ford dropped the gt350 as a 50th anniversary for the '65/66 gt350.

1967 gt500 kr
1968 bullet
1969 boss 429
1970 boss 302
1971 boss 351
1974 mustang 2... Ok let's stop there...

My opinion is ford will drop some excellent vehicles over the next 3 years.

I didn't think the "KR" came out until 1968??
