It seems like I go through phases where I contemplate selling the car and ultimately end up not going through with it. Recently though as my kids are getting older and are beginning to have more interest in the hobby I have been debating it more. I have 3 kids, ages 8, 6, and 6. So all three riding in the Cobra is out of the question, so it doesn’t get much use.
I have always wanted a 1970 Chevelle and I know that car is well big enough to hold my family and still has the wow factor I like. They are not nearly as rare as a 03-04 Cobras if you look at eBay, classifieds and production numbers. Although finding one complete is another story.
Right now I can only be a single hobby car family but since the Cobra is paid for I could probably add to the collection in 3-4 years after we buy our retirement home.
After that mindless rambling my question for you all is have you been in similar situations? Were your bored with the car only to sell and regret? Did you just weather the storm and stay out with your car?
