I drove mine! I have only driven it a couple times since buying it last Fall. The wife and I went for a little cruise. First stop was the gas station since I keep very little gas in it. I also painted a metal snake I had hanging on my garage wall. The metal finish didn’t stand out against the white background... Mystichrome POPS much better!

At least you're out there doing it. I think coolant and brake fluid tend to get neglected. Just look at all those engine bay pics and look at the MC. Most of them look pretty dark to me.

Change your brake fluid people LMAO!!!!
I really need to do this.

Blew the spark plug out of cylinder #3 at the beginning of Memorial Day weekend...

So she's off for a Helicoil from Ford tomorrow ... this sucks.

From now on, I'll be checking the torque on the spark plugs monthly.

I'm looking at the motive power bleeder. I'll be honest, I've never bled brakes before.

I need to do mine as well and there not hard with one of these. Just make sure your master cylinder doesn’t run dry. Start from the right rear, then LR, then RF, and lastly LF.

Awesome. I'm finding mixed reviews on Amazon on which model to purchase.

that sucks. curious to know what Ford charges for this

I'll let you know when I find out tomorrow...hopefully just an arm or a leg and not both.

No one around you had a kit you can use?

I think Jegs and summit racing sell them too.

I do quite a bit of my own work and feel comfortable with a lot, but this is something I would rather pay someone to do. I really don't want to risk messing up my heads doing it incorrectly and/or dropping shavings and messing up the motor. Peace of mind with Ford, and a warranty if something goes wrong.

Makes sense. But it's not as bad as it seems. I had to install a Timesert in my 01.
