I've got a 09 gt500 with 400 miles on it but haven't had it past 1/2 throttle @3000rpm. What is the break in period, It's killing me not hammering it! How long do I have to wait before I pulley and tune it?
From what Ive been reading. People had them pullied and tuned like right after they left dealership...
6000rpm shifts thru the first 5 gears huh...nice. I like your style. My supercharger is definetely making boost, guess it's time to smoke the hides!Correct break in is shifting at 6000 rpms through the first five gears before 50 miles on the odometer.This also eliminates the I dont think my supercharger is working question as well!This will guarantee a positive break in-And please do this in a safe place!
I saw that Engine Break-in article too. Interesting part about running it hard to mate the rings to the cylinder bores. Makes total sense.

Put a stock rear back in (3.55's) not gonna hammer on it again until we either rebuild the broke unit or step up to a 9" like I saw a member here running.
