what do you use the car for? dd, drag car? i dont drive my car much, mostly a weekend nice weather car.. i just done a sra swap to mine, and i am still running 3.55 gears.. i done decent at the track last weekend with them.. but i have been giving it some thought also on putting in 3.73.. the 3.55 is a good all around gear so im in no hurry to change them

if your looking for a little better at the track, and still decent DD, id go 3.73's.. 4.10's are a little much for a DD i think.. most people dont care, but i dont want the rpm's to high on long drives.

I'd go with 3.73's since the car is a DD ...unless you plan on addding a Whipple or KB down the road, then I'd stick with the 3.55's! :)

i was in this boat not long ago. i was in a toss up between 3.55's and 3.27's, you gotta decide what your goals are on the strip/street. it would suck to put in a set of gears that have you grabing 5th at the track.

i have 4.10's in my IRS right now. and i damn near hit the rev limiter going thru the traps. and that was with a idle launch and not power shifting. so im sure 4.10's is going to be too much for the SRA but idk thats why im asking

I had 3.73's when I had a SRA. With 26" tire I could about 130mph out of 4th.
Now that Im back on IRS, I have 4.10's and don't really care for them.

Either stick with the 3.55 or go with 3.73's. I've been wanting some 3.73s for awhile now, I hear its not much of a difference though.

I'm going 3.73 in my daily and plan to run a 26in tire at the track for now. I'm doing the same as you for racing and 3.73 seems to be the best.

For drag racing the 3.73 will be better then a 3.55 but the 3.55 will obviously be better for street duty.

If your going to be trapping more then 130 get a bigger tire when racing.

I went with 3.73 in my recent solid build. I plan on staying with 26" tires at track though. I didn't think I could get a 28 under my lowered car. Really depends on what size tire you run at track. with a 26 I'll say 3.73, with 28" 4.10 seem way to go. Your MPH plays a big part as well

damn its a close poll between the 3.55's and 3.73's. im still curious to know if my ET will drop when i go to a lower gear from my current 4.10's. i ran 11.72@121 with an idle launch and not power shifting. i tried power shifting and broke a halfshaft.
