WHIPPLE vs. TVS: A factual blower compare

VMP with 3" 16.5# boost, Accufab, 60's, BA3000, gt pumps, bap, Bassani, stock cats, 91 octane= 557HP/517TQ. There's some numbers for ya. Car was 565hp with 2.76 pulley on stock Eaton. What's wrong here?

I made 615/540 with my TVS on a Mustang dyno, not the highest numbers but I some how managed to turn it into a 10.26 @ 136.2 tonight on its second pass. :banana: :burnout:

Dyno numbers aren't everything

At a glance and my OPINION fwiw, you need more octane so that you can add timing, than drop a pulley size, thus that would bring you from 16.5#'s of boost to 19#ish

Im no tooooner, but a full tank of gas and a can of torco I would think, put you in the 19# range.

Your stock blower made way too much power. Was this on the same dyno? I've never seen that much from a stock blower with a 2.76, 465 would be about right. Your TVS numbers look to be on the lower side from 91 and stock cats.

This was a super budget build...all used items...cheapest i could find...
Just recently put jlt high boost on and re-tuned but hasnt been back on the rollers
