I'm not 100%, but I think it was '68 for production veh. They still had it in NASCAR. I've heard of some documented '68 Mustang Drag cars with the 427, and a friend of mine had a '68 Shelby GT-500 'vert C-6/427. '69 was the start of the 429ci for performance, so the 427 was out, I think.
