If you think that all there is to a fast car is a high hp number you need to sell your car and get a bike... the 600's only have 100-115hp... man, they are slow too...

Guys, I love the mod-ability of my 03 Cobra. Stock for stock the Z06 is the faster car 9 out of ten times. Are cars are 2+2 modern Muscle cars while the Z06 Vette is a purpose built sports car. I will get the same hp #s for my 03 Cobra that I did for my 01 SS for 10 grand less. I like drag racing. I live around chicago and 90% of the streets are st8. (every street is on a freaking grid) I sold the Z06 got my 03 Cobra, a dually disel Chevy (for work). The next GM car I'll but will be the CTSv. The only Question is what car t0o make more of a race car the 03 Cobra or the 01 Camaro SS?????????????

I raced one, 2003, the guy was a nerd, didn't even acknowledge we were gonna go at it when the light turned green, he belted it, and by the time I realized what he was doing, I started hard with just my mods (minus the subframe connectors). My front bumper was like 2 meters behind his bumper and through the top of 2nd gear, HE DID NOT PULL ON ME AN INCh, I slowed (Scottsdale Road near Goldwater), like middle city, and he continued to higher speed (45mph speed limit at that location, he was probably pushing 70-80mph), he turned off very quickly, WHAT A DICK!! I think he was surprised, thanks, Doc.
