I had 305's on my 18x10 bullets on my old car and they look normal with no bulge from the side wall so I think with 1/2 a inch more it will have some side wall bulge but now much... I'll post pics when I have them mounted...

I have two buddies I talked to last night that have 305's on a 9 inch wide rim and they look totally fine... So I'm going for it...

Are their 305's 12.5" wide? The reason why I ask is because I have just gone through this with Alcoa's. Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's are 12.5"+ wide (section/total width) in a 335/30 size. The Dunlop Sport Maxx GT is 12" wide tread width in a 325/30 size. These two tires would look like "love handles" on a 9-10" rim, and if these 325's and 335's measure 12-12.5" wide (and I have put a tape measure on them), how can a 305 be 12.5 also?

My 325's are 27.7 and the 335's are 28.0, just like these M/T's 28x12.5.

Different 305's have different widths. These tires spec a wider wheel than stock. Lots of people run them anyway. I question if the 9.5" wheel reduces contact patch by rolling the tire on the outsides.

Not to mention turning a corner and the car feels like it is on jello in the rear.

If you want tires that corner incredibly and also hook very well. Look at the Toyo R888 Proxes. I switch between these and M/T (rear) and know they are great. Thy are not wearing nearly as much as expected.

The Toyo R888 is 305/35ZR18
The M/T ET Streets are 295/45R18

I chose the taller ET Street for more sidewall. The taller tire fills in the wheel well very nice.

Here is the 305/45R18 M/T:

Minimum Recommended Wheel Width:10.00 in.

Maximum Recommended Wheel Width:12.00 in.

Not recommended, the perfect wheel for that tire will be 11" wide
Optimum no - fit and serviceable - IMO yes with out issue

IMO your fine, that's the first time I've seen a 19" DR from MT
