Bottom line - you weren't there. He wasn't really annoyed with my presence. It was more of him trying to talk down to me and act like he's better for some reason (hence the price he said he paid for his c6z).
Was it a car show? Did he have his hood opened? Was he out there talking to other people about his car?
Most likely he was better. He doesn't going around asking stupid questions to random people in a parking lot about a car.

Yeah I was kind of like that this one time when this kid saw me driving my Terminator and wanted to come talk to be about it, and then started talking about how awesome his Escort ZX2 was, and how he love street racing like it a religion and how he beat the shit out of a built 5.0 Foxbody because his FWD car hooks up much better with all the weight over the frontend, but then the Mustang caught him and flew past him when his non-hooking, no weight transferring Foxbody finally found traction.
See OP it gets to the point where people with lesser cars want to brag about what they have to someone, and they might not be trying to be a dick, but it's just aggravating to have to always listen.
I snapped on this older guy the other day because he followed me into a gas station like he was there to rob the place, and he gets in my face and starts saying stuff like "hey that's a Lightning right? Is it fast? That thing will fly right? It's a real Lightning right? Those things are suppose to fly. Is it fast? It'll fly right? and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." I'm thinking is this guy trying to be cool with me or is he trying to be funny? I don't like for other men to get 6-8" from my face, look me straight in the eyes, and asking me a bunch of stupid questions over and over with a loud tone. Then he started telling me about his old pre-04 King Ranch. It just got to the point where it's like look dude you just need to leave me the **** alone because you're acting like a skanky meth-head piece of white trash who's ****ed up at the moment, which seeing how we were in Gaston he probably was. When you're talking to someone, and especially someone you don't know you need to not occupy their space. A good arms length is a nice distance to have in between two people. You sure don't need to try and get up in someones grill.

I know 2 guys that own zo6's and that is what they call them. I never heard anyone say they have a c6z so thought maybe it was something different. I don't have much interest in vette's so I don't keep up on what they call them. I have seen some zr1's and know a person that owns one and yes they are pretty fast but I would rather have a viper for that money.
