I will not waste my time trying to make you understand how police work is done. You simply dont want to hear it. If that is what the officer said was the reason for the stop then he was likely wrong, but the reasonable suspicion for the stop was there and is legitimate.

Sounds like "profiling". I can see stops for headlights out, illegal tint and so on. Making things up should not be how police work "should be done". If an LEO can't admit that this stop was far fetched without a legitimate reason, you might be in the wrong line of work.

The stop was based on reasonable suspicion. If the officer said it was for rolling through the stop sign and the OP didnt then that is wrong. But in the grand scheme of things the officer had the cause to make the stop and investigate.

So, either way the stop was occurring for cause. The OP wasnt ticketed for the offense.

It amazes that people scream and yell that L.E. should send their time busting "real" criminals but no one wants to be inconvenienced for a few minutes to allow that to happen.

OP- You did nothing wrong, and should not be stopped for something you obviously didn't do.

Your post was idiotic, you did not simply say that the officer should not have claimed he made a rolling stop but went a lot further without any actual experience to support your statements. Further, the various posts don't agree with your new stance. Btw, where did I call you stupid?
