Wow that's cheaper than I thought it would be. They're defintely trying to be competitive. Will be interesting to see how sales are for it. I'll miss the street wars for the next 3yrs. Have to schedule all my trips home during the summertime lol.

Pricing on the GT500 will be very interesting, since apparently that is the price for a ZL1 with HUD, MSRC and IRS with the LS-A. Also, I suspect the GT500 PP pricing is going up a lot, if it includes the Torsen and Recaros, plus upgraded wheels and tires.

I really think the GT500 and the ZL-1 are the working mans super performers of our generation. They cant price them so high that they are'nt obtainable....right?

Unfortunately I think the pricing is going to be higher than anyone wants. I think it'll break the $60k mark. I'd love to see it sub $60 though. Especially with the power hitting the $100k ZR-1 range.

i have to agree that the shelby is the dream car, or pinnacle for us working men. I know thats my supercar and damn it i want it! im just waiting to see the price im praying its not ridiculous or ill just start looking for a 2012 now

Its no secret that gt500 order guide wont be out til mid January, at the earliest.

Even with comparable horsepower to the ZR-1, the ZR-1 will run circles around the GT500 as it weighs 800 pounds less and is better at getting the power to the ground.
