Your pump is probably on itś way out.. They don last long..Try a new 1100 and see the difference. They are cheap. Iḿ going to pull mine out, and try an external Jabsco like some of the other guys are doing.
right now with a new 1100, it flows good, but notice it falls off over time.

hmm that would piss me off cause it's brand new. Rob from chiseled suggested leaving the stocker up front to help lift the water up through he heat exchanger and intercooler.

Ok. Great. I figure less wear on both pumps as well. I guess yours has worked out better this way?

I ran the stocker in the stock location initially.
When it pumped it pumped well.
It kept loosing prime.
I added a Rule 850 in the tank and have had no problems since.
Plenty of flow and no issue with losing prime.
My tank is 5" tall. The 1100 wouldn't fit.

awesome. Thanks. that's strange. i'm wondering how Chiseled got the rule 1100 inside the 5" tank. I look inside and think how the heck does it come out if it needs to be replaced lol. I'm going to put my stock pump back on inline this week and see how it does.

just wanted to update. I installed my stock pump inline and the fluid is flowing like a garden hose in the tank. It seems the Rule pump that came with the chiseled tank had no problem pushing fluid to the heat exchanger but was losing a lot of flow trying to push up to the killer chiller and intercooler where it just trickled out. The stock pump helped with this and now everythign is running great.

Good to hear it worked for you.
Do you realize we can now tell people we have a "double pumper" in our Cobras?
Sounds like an old Camaro I used to have with a big Holley!!

Bump!....

Anyone else have more pics of there tank installed? I just got my Chiseled tank today so i'll probably work on it this weekend. I already have 3/4 hose so i'm good there, but i'd like to see some other install photos to see what i'm up against.

What are you guys using to space the tank off the floor?

I have 4 "little people" holding mine up in my trunk...every once in awhile I'll feed them and whatnot. Works pretty good if you ask me :poke:

Thats a damn good idea lol.... Where can I find those? These guys might work.. :pepper::banana::pepper::banana:

I found some spacers at work but i'm not sure there tall enough. I'll probably just use the screws you have like we talked about.

I just tacked 4 bolts in and used jam nuts/washers. It is imprtant to be able to get under it imo because water/ice that spills under there and you are continually wiping up messes when at the track.

Interested in doing this...is there an updated way from experience on how to do this? Do you guys recommend the pump in the tank as its offered? what size hose to use? and what direction are you guys running it?

i have the in tank pump with 3/4" ID hose. It didn't flow much so I put the stock pump back in the stock location inline with the feed to the heat exchanger and it flows very well.
