i have the in tank pump with 3/4" ID hose. It didn't flow much so I put the stock pump back in the stock location inline with the feed to the heat exchanger and it flows very well.

Do you have this same Chiseled Performance tank or a different one? How much does the tanks cost out the door shipped approximately?

i have the same chiseled tank with the Rule pump. I don't remember the current price. I plan to have them make me a smaller tank. 6 gallons is unnecessarily large since i have a killer chiller and no longer drag race.

I like that idea. I'll be running a killer chiller this year and was planning on running a chiseled tank but also thought it was kinda large.

I like my 6 gallon tank.
When I'm not racing it is a great place to keep the beer cold......
Bigger tank= more cold beer!

Damn. Looks like the Rule in tank pump crapped out in my chiseled tank. The stocker up front is still circulating the water pretty well even though the in tank pump isn't working. Looking at reviews for the Rule 27D that was installed in the tank, they don'd seem very reliable lately. Anyone else have one go bad? I don't even know how to get it out of the tank. It's a tight fit. Any suggestions? It's the same tank and pump setup as BADASS03SVT.

The rule pump was unreliable for me too, I had the 1100 I beleive..2 of them went bad on me in 2000 miles of driving. I went to the external Jabsco pump, and it is working really well. I hooked it directly to the output of the chiseled tank with an NPT adapter from HD. If you go external don't forget to remove the 3/4 in flexible tube inside.

Thanks guys.
Muttley, which pump did you go with? I'm wondering if I should just swap out the stock intercooler up front for the meziere and call it a day.

Thanks. I'm going to have to reconfigure my setup to fit an inline pump. any pics of how you did it?

finding the right place to mount is the hardest part; I used a double ended NPT I found at HD, One end fits in the tank, the other directly in the pump.. it worked out really well. I may need more support for the pump; just haven´t gotten around to working on it yet. Iĺl send a few pics tomorrow. My camera battery is dead right now.

Ok Thanks. I have a feeling i'm going to have to remount my tank a little further back so there's room for the pump. Right now the inlet/outlet of the tank go straight through the side of the spare tire well so there's not much hose there top splice in to.

picture of trunk tank setup

Heres a picture I just took of the tank, I painted it black, it looks a lot cleaner to me. And the jabsco pump directly attached. I´ll finish this up by mounting a support bracket under it. The tank also has rubber between the 4 mount points.
I added some clear 3/4 tube on the in and out sides, and a cover handle.

Thanks for the picture. It gives me ideas. I think i can leave my current mounting points and rotate my tank 180 degrees so the ports point towards the rear of the car where I have more room to mount the pump. then the hose can wrap around the spare tire well back to the front facing barbs that go through the trunk.
