Sorry, forgot to get back to you. 2-4" is possible but highly unlikely... everything keeps all precip east of you. However any precip that may for in Tioga county would be snow.

Whats it look like for zip 02673 ?

Wind picks up thru the day Wednesday. Rain starts late afternoon. Worst of the wind will be from ~10pm Wed to 10am Thu... gusts to 65mph are possible. Upwards of 2" of rain... could taper off as a wet snow or mix.

How am I looking here on the Jersey Coast? I'm already down 1 leg of my power, but I moved some breakers around to get the furnace running. I hope I don't lose the 2nd leg. Although so many people are still without power, like my parents, and my in-laws without a house, who are now living with me (the house is still there, just needs a lot of work).

I hope this isn't too bad, especially for those toughing it out with nothing.

I'm in zip code 06410 so this likely applies to us as well. Thanks for the heads up. And yes, it is definitely nice have an actual weather pro here on SVTP.

As of right now it seams the storm keeps shifting and the low area might stay in the areas impacted by Sandy and cause coastal flooding.

Brick Township NJ has been issued a mandatory evacuation by 6pm Tonight.

I just got to looking at stuff right now. Biggest news is that the storm is moving a bit faster than expected. Impacts will be felt on LI first starting by late morning and in New England by late afternoon. Worst winds will be from Noon on Wednesday till noon Thursday. Wind gusts along LI, southern and eastern CT, RI and eastern MA will get it the worst. ~1-1.5" of precip locally 2" is possible but not likely... all things are trending dryer. All areas could see light wet snow at the onset of precip... snow/sleet mix will last longer and possibly thru the night in new england but little accumulation on the ground is expected. Almost no mixed precip at all expected on LI. Worst wind gusts will be around 60mph likely... areas in LI and New England right along the coast could see a few gusts to 65mph.

annndd we have the storm ATHENA a coming..

East coast is getting anywhere from about 3-12 inches depending on area.

Most parts effected by sandy will be getting about 3. Which may normally not be a lot but for people still without heat and power it sure is. Plus this will surely put a kink in some recovery crews work.

97cobra - any thoughts to this my NY brotha?
