I may need to pick one of these up. I'll find out for sure next week when my 20x11 rears get mounted. My concern is with the air ride setup. I don't want to hit it everytime I raise and lower the car.

That is what I'm thinking .. I'm looking at doing some Forgestar F14 wheels (Deep concave 20x9.5 fronts and 20x10.5 rears) and just want peace of mind as well... plus I don't know, maybe I'll actually need to do this if it is a tight fit!)

Hey folks, I've started listing these on eBay. Just type in "S197 Bumpstop Kit" in the search box and look for seller "DEROOKIE".

These are now being made of brushed 1/4" billet aluminum. I've tested a set on my car for over a year now and they work perfectly. The good news is, no painting required.

Price to SVT members via PM is $59.00 shipped. They're slightly higher if you purchase through eBay to cover their fees.

Not thinking these are needed with a 19x11 running a 305/30. Does anyone know for sure?

It has more to do with the bracket that's sticking out into the wheel well. Removal of that bracket adds clearance and the reason the bump stop needs to be relocated. Whether your wheel/tire combination will rub is going to depend on your wheel offset and how centered the rear end sits. How hard you push the car can also effect clearance.

Hey Gents,
At the expense of coming across as a complete moron, I ordered the kit as well. Where do you guys recommend putting the washers? On each bolt or just the one with the lock nut? Then on the nut side or the bolt head side?

Thanks!
Duke

PS. I already had the brackets removed, FR L springs installed and the FR adjustable panhard bar. Now trying to fit the 335/30, 315/35 or 295/35 MPSS on a EV widened 11.5 Alcoa. Talk about a fun process. I have zero rub to the inside. It's all a matter of whether I'll get contact on the fender which hopefully the bump stop will prevent. I'll create another thread with pics soon. But it looks like if I'm hosed with the 295/35 then I'm hosed with the 335/30. I have one mounted on each 11.5" wheel.

If you have the kit that I sell from post #90 above, then put a washer on each bolt and one on just before the lock nut.

I do, fantastic quality! Fit and finish of this thing is top notch. I'm really impressed and highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get rid of the bump stop brackets.

I've had my brackets for a couple years now. Has anyone had any issues with the bracket bolts colliding with the frame? My car is lowered but isn't terribly low. the bracket bolts came into contact with the frame before the bumpstops completely compressed. I put adjustable LCAs on the car and lengthened them slightly (which alleviated the issue). haven't checked pinion angle since doing so, so this may not be a permanent fix, but I just wanted to alleviate the issue before doing any serious damage.

Here's what it looks like

I used these on 20x12s and plan to use them for 18x12s.

^^^^^^^What brand of a rear spring set up is that? In your picture, it appears that there is an upper and lower spring with a purple spacer between the two? Maybe it is just an optical illusion?

Those are KW clubsport springs. Main spring on top with the tender/helper spring below.
