Oh this? This is NOTHING :D:eek:

lol. Sorry for my part in derailing your thread OP. I don't know how I ended up arguing with another Mustang owner over Mustangs. Good kill btw. I may have missed it, but what are your mods?

OP, good kill! I cannot wait until the day my build is done. It will not be the fastest but it should be deep into the 10's. Should be a very fun car. What tires are you going to go with? A lot of guys seem to be liking the Toyo R888s for street cars.

Thanks man. Actually I want some toyo TQ's! I had em on my 280hp mach and loved them. Thought they wouldn't be enough for the cobra, but a buddy proved me wrong as he did a 8.1@90ish mph in the 1/8th. That convinced me that these tires can handle it. A pair 315's cost about $600.

Man I've been on here since 2010. Derailing a thread is another way of keep the conversation going to me lol. Thanks man. Mods are upper/lower pulley, filter, ported TB, stock plenum(car came like this, need to buy aftermarket setup), ported blower, MAFia, BAP, o/r x, and stinger catback(for now). Once I can get my life situated I can get the supporting mods it needs and the car should be running how I'd expect a ported pullied cobra to run.

Look at the posts made by 02 Wife in threads and that is the norm. You cannot have a on topic post with that one lurking as it turns out to be about how badass their Zzzzzzzzzzzzz28 is on the internet test track.

Plenty of guys running n/a sbf's that would give you a waxing. Seems your a little butthurt that gm can't make a motor that can handle some boost? Suppose that would just be another recall, pretty soon there won't be anymore gm's on the road the way there going.

Lol I ain't but hurt over anything my car never had a recall. N/a sbf is that the best you got? I hope they can drive under their own power to the drag strip.

I just drove my friends LS3 powered 99 Trans am home for him on a 2 hour trip. The thing HATED 6th gear as well as a variety of random RPM/gear configurations. I was glad to take my Cobra for a drive after that and enjoy how smooth it was (AND making more power lol). Drivability wise, you just can't beat the factory smoothness of a terminator vs an LS engine of similar power.

What's the point of your message? My ls3 swap was professionally done I don't know about your friends car. You can't compare factory engineered to a custom swap. I think you are just trying to be smart. I Wonder what your buddy would say about you dogging his car.

Haha really? My buddies runs 6.2's in the 1/8 n/a. On the bottle it's 5.5's. And it's a "street car". My old 347 stroker only made 325 rwhp and ran 7.3's in the 1/8 launching from idle. That was 7-8 years ago. Oh and I drove that car to the track and back, which was almost 1 1/2 hrs away.

Probably easier than you. I don't even have to swap a pulley. Just up the boost on my turbo and retune on my laptop. And yes Saleens are worth $10k tops. Even less when they've had the factory supercharger removed. What's your badass 03 Cobra worth $40-50k? I wish I had it like you, baller.

Lighten up man. There's no reason to get so uptight.

Nope my cobra is only worth around 20k, I don't think it's a damn unicorn. Your the one that had to throw in that your little 2v makes as much power as mine and pretty much called me a ford nutswinger, not? I'm not mad at all I find a lot of this stuff quite comical. Anything can make power with a turbo, enjoy it.

I do not understand why you had an LS3 swapped into a catfish. If you had swapped an LS3 into a gen 1-3 id say eh ok, i understand. if you put the LS3 into a c2-c5 vette id say thats cool. But a gen 4 Camaro....really? I do not understand your obsession with the gen 4 Camaro, to me it will forever look like an ugly catfish with wheels, no amount of power or money can make this car LOOK nice. People out there have custom paint jobs and body kits....at the end of the day its still hideous. It just never made sense to me why GM put an LT/LS motor in a car that it never belonged in in the first place, let alone why you thought it was a better idea to have an LS3 installed. The gen 4 Camaro looks like it should be relatives in looks and specs to the Chrysler Sebring, by gm logic should dodge have put the viper motor or a mopar crate into the Sebring and call it an 02 challenger? No.

Gen 4 by far is one of the ugliest cars ever made to be deemed "a muscle car"

Thank you for posting those pics of the ls1 Camaro z28. It was a sleek design a corvette with a back seat. I know mustang owners should remember how the tail lights are because when you raced them between 1993 and 2002 that's what you saw. Get that cobra in the 13s before you do anymore posting.

Good kill on a stock ls1. Find a modded 4th gen like my ls3 swapped z28 and see what happens.

Really? I'm glad you are proud of your catfish, but the op didn't race you. There is always someone faster, those of us who race know that and accept it. Hell, there are N/A Hondas out there that will beat most of us, so get over yourself and your Z28. You are just acting like an internet racer and it is a little sad :(

Why would I care about my warranty? No you didn't, read the quote again. You asked him to try a modded 4th gen, like your Z28.

There was a question on whether the camaro was modded. It was stock I said find a modded one. I probably should have kept my car out of it. I don't do call outs to people a thousand miles away.
