This is anything but a good opportunity lol

Nope! hah but all that rationale goes out the window for some when something they want is right in front of them. People (not necessarily the OP) have an issue with the ADM when the offer isn't right in front of them but the second it is, they consider it at the least.

Just crazy. If I had time I would go back and link all the ADM bashing threads.

I would love to have a R but I have a GT350 Track pack. Why pay more for the same car with less? The only reason is because they are making less of them then the non R. So its only more collectible. I added the R rear seat delete, Forgeline GA1R open lugs, Michelin pilot sport cup 2 tires, R front and rear springs, suspension mods, ARH long tubes, off road X pipes and did a few other mods for less then what a R is going for and with the same driver on the same track and same day my car would beat an R. All for less money and it has the same coolers, trans, engine, brakes etc. But as for rarity the R will bring more in the future.

But...you have more in your car and the mods than a GT350R MSRPs for.

$1700 R rear seat delete
$965 BMR suspension pieces total
$220 R front and rear springs
$10685 total

It is now. But not when you buy it before it even came out back in December lol. List on it then was 2800. I own automotive business and got it at my cost then of 1700. That's what happens when you can't wait and jump the gun like me lol.

I was offered a 2017R at sticker, but I passed.

Right now for me it's easier to swing a $60k GT350 vs. a $72k 350R.

I could do it, I just don't want to stretch myself at this point in time.

U crazy bro. You shoulda called me on that hotline bling emergency line! I woulda bought that bish so fast.

I would love to have an R - but I will never pay MSRP much less ADM. Dealers always get the dealer kickback from the manufacturer on every vehicle.

So Ford builds the ultimate track weapon Mustang, dealers ask 25,000 to 50,000 over msrp almost insuring that the car will not be purchased by buyers with the intent of tracking the car. Dealership in my area received an R and put it in storage on blocks figuring it will be worth more down the line. Am I missing something?

Just how it works. Same thing with other brand's "race cars". You will see a lot more 5.0's on the track than ZL1's or GT500's.

Very few people will track it and DD it (at least fair weather) and keep it forever.

+1.
