Dar:

Those are some great vids! :-D That stock car really scared the crap out of me. My passenger at the time could not understand why I was so concerned over that! I'm not sure that guy knew how slow turn 8 was?!?! Not to mention the fact that you actually have to slow down for it!!! :read:

Dar:
Great job on the vintage videos... seems like just yesterday, but yet years ago  That Taurus spin was a little on the close side :uh oh:

I'm sure this year will be dry and the track will be hot and of course the  will be cold!

I know you have more video... keep it coming :D

I thought it WAS yesterday!?!?!? I have a good memory, it's just short! :(

Love the subtitles!

I thought they were great as well. :coolman: He's seen too many of mine! :p

Here's my view of the "close call"

low res "Close Call"

hi res "Close Call"

And just as a refresher course from last year, this was the ride I gave my friend Syd, following Mike in his Corvette.

It's a nice refresher course. Syd's first ride at RA. I think he was a little nervous going into turn 1 following the Corvette before we caught Mike!?!

Bruce,

I love it, I knew it was just a matter of time! :poke:

I laughed the first time I saw it and again just now! You guys are brilliant with your captions! My favorite part is " He was held up by a Corvette"....Classic!

Here's a short clip back in April when I was doing a little testing.

The car has had some minor adjustments made since last year. :-D

I'm sure you'll agree the best part is at 1:04 and again at 2:29.

Click on hyper link...embedding isn't working?

Great video Bruce.......I was behind you and watching from a distance cause I couldn't keep up. Hopefully this year I'm a little closer now that I have the suspension figured out.:-D

........and the sandbagging begins! :-D

Bruce, I'm good for a 2:25.9....will that fend you off? ;-)

Mike you are plenty safe at 2:25. Trust me! You could probably use your cruise control. So you're safe for this year.

Next year may be a different story. Stay tuned! :pop:

I think Mike is sandbagging us!?!? ;-):poke::p

The one thing I can say... If Mike wishes to draft my square box he will be running quite a bit slower than 2:25. :dw:

The fab 5 pain train is capable of some pretty serious blocking if need be... "protect the line" :read::idea:

Mike,

Something to shoot for.........the C6-R's ran a 2:01 at RA this past weekend. :poke:

You are going to have to revise your goal this year - drive with your hair on fire and get into the teens.

Barring any mechanical issues, Mike will have no problem getting into the mid-teens. Unless some unknown shows, the real battle this year will be for third place.
