The track I race at is pretty fast compared to others, low elevation and cool weather.

I've seen this guy run his car since it was stock...heads/cam/tune etc. trapping 116. Stock he was around 108 or so. -361 DA!!

My friends 04 Cobra, same track trapped 116-117 with cold air and catback ONLY, see previous posts. With the corrected DA this is a fast track. Also look at the times I posted for a LS2 GTO, tune-xpipe-mufflers and it ran 12.6-12.7 @ 115+.

STOCK for STOCK, equal drivers 03/04 Cobra > SRT8 Anything.....

There is a huge factor of the 03/04 being manual not auto so driver is a huge factor and the ONLY reason for one to get beaten stock for stock...

I can't comment on the 108 when other hit 109-110 under the same conditions.

If Cobra's pick up 40hp from intake/exhaust then that reinforces it's one of the best bang-for-the buck among USED cars. Especially your friends which appears among the fastest in the country.

The GTOs with those mods run 1-3mph slower than me here.

No doubt Cobra > SRT-8 equal drivers.

Sure...I'll ask Rod what his blown AB mach ran compared to his muffler modded magnum.:bash:

I wonder if his Mach wasn't always blown? :bored:

I'll be running a couple of guys here in their lighted modded Machs on my 398/422 91oct tune and we'll try the stock tune as well.

Uh...I wonder how many track visits his N/A mach had.

AH yes....your 400rwhp '91 octane tune' vs. light bolt on machs......that'll prove that stock these cars are a driver's race. I also wonder if those races will be done at a track or even from a dig. I'm willing to bet they'll all be your infamous *** racing.

You just wont' quit until every one  to the SRT8s will? :bash::poke::rollseyes

Well, all in good fun:

Don't like to see which car is truly faster by roll racing? Do you know the advantages of roll racing? You already know what will happen, don't you? You live next door to a dragstrip? Should we measure a 1/4 mile? With timing lights? Or should we hire Rich C. and his crew to arm drop? Ever been to Sears Point? How many have you beat? Did you miss the part about the stock tune? I typed why don't you join us but I see you don't have one any longer. Why don't you come anyway so I can be 2-0 vs. cars and 3-0 vs. drivers?

:)

This is called drag racing, not *** racing. Roll racing eliminate's half the skill needed. It proves jack shit. Aside from the fact, that you still have a chance at driver error, so it doesn't prove shit. I think it's about time you go back to ls1tech and re-read your 'living 1/4 mile at a time' post. You're the Ricer one in this thread.

Do you know the advantages of roll racing?
LOL.....R U seriously asking me that. First you defend your srt8 to no end, now your defending your ricer driving habits? Do you know the DISADVANTAGES to roll racing.

You already know what will happen, don't you?
That makes no sense. I've raced and still won/tied from a roll when the other guy had the advantage.

You live next door to a dragstrip?
R U you seriously that dumb?

Should we measure a 1/4 mile?No...but you can still setup races from a dig over a roll, right? how about...since you are KING TRAP SPEED, you go from a dig to 110. That's a 1320 run right?

With timing lights? See above.

Or should we hire Rich C. and his crew to arm drop? How about taretto and his crew. Cause for those 10 seconds or less, you'll be free.

Ever been to Sears Point? ACtually, nope. Wouldnt' wast my time. I much prefer Sac or Famoso...seems how I'm inbetween both and I know people that go to both.

How many have you beat? Beat what?...you didn't list anything. You are a few IQ points shy of special ed. aren't you.

Did you miss the part about the stock tune? OH yeah...you're right, that was right after the 'might'. You were planning on running as you sit, and maybe swaping to the stock tune...now you're trying to pass it off that you are going to fun bone stock. COMPLETELY STUPID.

I typed why don't you join us but I see you don't have one any longer. Why don't you come anyway so I can be 2-0 vs. cars and 3-0 vs. drivers? Wow.....all in good fun and you take a personal shot. It's a good thing I dont' have my N/A mach anymore. I'd love to meet up and prove you wrong.......better yet, my cobra right?...cause according to the great douche deuuuce, that's what's required to beat you.

:)

Since you're in your element here, I'll just post the same response as on LS1 because while I already admitted it's a driver's race in the 1/4 mile, your only prayer is a good 1/8th mile.

Otherwise, you're owned. And your reply wasn't worth responding too, and I'm sure this one won't be either.

You guys have your opinions, I have mine. My daily driver doesn't get DRs, I haven't been pulled over in years, nor have I been caught.

Coordinating a precious 1/2 day off from work along with someone else's schedule to make it to track is not easy. And Sac, 2x as far, 2x more expensive on weekends, isn't in the cards either.

Don't cry when you get walked from a roll that you want to try to find a stoplight on a perfect stretch of road, with no traffic and limited access and try to make up for your ass-kicking with another race from a dig - which in the Mach's case, will lose.

Who's crying here? It looks like the stock Mach is walking the stock SRT8 from a roll to me. :poke:

I don't see how this video is any less valid than the mythological timeslips you keep referencing in your weak attempt to establish 110 mph stock SRT8 trap speeds.

Your infamous roll race is right there, guess who got pulled? :poke::poke::poke:

STOCK Mach 1 vs STOCK SRT-8... I'll put my $ on the SRT-8. I've seen them run and when they're driven using the paddle shift or sport shift they're a lot faster. The thread starters cousin has a SRT8 300c and he beat his cousins Mach 1 before, but now that he has a X-pipe and exhaust it should be a better race.

+1...but 80% of the time i would put my money on the srt-8...but depending on the driver of the mach it would be a run for their money...

ajmir (OP) {intake/midpipe/catback mach 1) will take his cousins srt-8 all day...

I don't even think Ajmir has an intake. I would like to see Ajmir and his cousin race now. I think it would be a VERY CLOSE race.

You like how he does that?......BIG TIME ricer move. It took him pages before he admited a 1320 race was a driver's race....WHICH WAS MY ENTIRE POINT.

SHOOSH. What do you know.....catfish owner.

seriously though...like SSSSIKH said below...it's a driver's race. Anything less than .5 second IMHO is a driver's race...they are within tenths of each other.
