I would like to see a test of the ports with the same pulley.. and measure IATs, and boost drop off, and what rpm full boost happens.

then a test done with equal boost levels..

and of course a vid :)

I don't know, like it was mentioned, taking the cars to the track might not really tell anything. Weight difference, driver difference etc. I think taking the cars to the same dyno right after each other is the true test.

ONE CAR SUPERCHARGER DYNO TEST UNDERWAY

We have invested two days of time and labor on extensive testing. We will be posting complete information with the tests done per suggestions of the forum members. Testing is being done on the Snake Bite and Stage Five Stiegemeier ports vs. competitors "race port". All runs being completely datalogged and in ideal conditions of 50 -55 deg weather. All ports also flowed on SFX 1000 flowbench, independant of vehicle. Unfortunately the 3rd party port locked because of structural instability due to excessive removal of material. ALL data will be made available on a new thread.

underside of the blower, 2 other parties tested, pics a few pages back, it should be obvious why.

Bob is claiming Posi's port locked up during his test because Brian removed too much material. How convenient it happened in his shop, when it's been asked that the test be done at a 3rd party and Bob refused/ignored that request. On top of that Bob has bashed on Brian for claiming that his ports are bigger, saying it's not true. Well if Brian's ports aren't bigger then that would mean they have less material removed than Bob Steigemeier's ports, correct?

again you are wrong, 2 parties tested it wasn't posi's

Can't wait to see this. Seing that even if posi's port is only close to the stage 5 it would prove that it is better than there stage 1. thus proving them wrong.

This is only going to further make them look bad to people that have any idea what is going on.

Sure there will still be the people that think the snakebite tm is great since it makes XXX power with a 3.25" pulley thinking that.
they are doing something.

Im sorry but an upper lower combo can create the same gear ratio as the snakebite tm

Actually no it shouldn't be obvious. That's the outlet and air is going out and not in. So if anything if the aluminum moves it should go away from the rotors. Not closer and lock up. Then it's got 3 sides easily still to keep it from warping. Plus the material that's still left along the bottom. So I wouldn't think it was that.

Awaiting results.
Bob, why don't you head on over to the snakebite thread and respond to my post.

I didn't realize it was even a question whether Brian's port was better than the stage 1...hasn't that already been discussed/proven?

he did not specify how it failed. So you are saying that if a piece broke off at 17psi that the piece could not have entered back up into the blower when they let off the gas.

I was only referencing what I thought you were saying about the outlet being to large. That is all.
