Can't wait to see this. Seing that even if posi's port is only close to the stage 5 it would prove that it is better than there stage 1. thus proving them wrong.

This is only going to further make them look bad to people that have any idea what is going on.

Sure there will still be the people that think the snakebite tm is great since it makes XXX power with a 3.25" pulley thinking that.
they are doing something.

Im sorry but an upper lower combo can create the same gear ratio as the snakebite tm

Wise man say: "The only guy dumber than the guy he thinks knows it all is the guy who arques with him". Rest assured, I believe Bob  will have data, whether or not you can understand it is another thing. You all read whatever you want into these posts, so it does'nt matter what they say. Do you think that any rational being can't read what you write? You're bias one way or the other is evident. The tests are being conducted on state of the art testing equipment, arguably the best in the private industry. The car is the same, on the same dyno, with hopefully equal atmospheric conditions. Show me the numbers

Actually no it shouldn't be obvious. That's the outlet and air is going out and not in. So if anything if the aluminum moves it should go away from the rotors. Not closer and lock up. Then it's got 3 sides easily still to keep it from warping. Plus the material that's still left along the bottom. So I wouldn't think it was that.

Are you a metalurgist? Or perhaps a tool and die maker? Structural Engineer? What qualifies you to make this assesment? Just because you've never seen it does'nt make it not so.

I can hardly wait for the data........Ill bet there is none.
EXACTLY, you won't see it posted on here!!
Brain should send Steg one of HIS Race Ports for the test but they'd fudge the results if it favors Posi's work!! You KNOW THAT!! What company is gonna admit that the competition is equal or even better?? Has Steg documented one of their ports running 9's without Nitrous like Jakes car with Posi's port??

Big words with 7 post and right out of bobs back yard, maybe you would like to join in the talk I have with my Old college roomate (who is a supercharger tech for EATON) and the Enginner who's name is on the Patten for the new TVS blower. I know more than most!

Hey bro I noticed your Sig has changed? You had a Steg IV right?
Was your Eaton sent to Posi for reworking??

Had a Stage 3, had Brian upgrade the port. Run into some tuning issues with the car so I don't have any valid numbers. Will say Brian's port has made more rwhp than my Stage 3 did on the same dyno in the same conditions with a bad tune to boot.

Actually I was a Mold Maker for 15 years. I look at any number and it's in thousandths of an inch. It's outlet is an exit hole that has air going out. So if anything the opening will get larger or bellmouth out but I don't think you could ever measure that. The cases are usually around .280" (on the bottom) thick if I remember correctly then with the supports running acrossed the bottom for more strength. So it shouldn't cave in. We don't know if this is where it locked up though. Also even if the opening is to large IMHO the blower still thinks the material is there because it's bolted down dead flat to keep it from warping. Then the other 3 sides are still there for strength. As long as it's not warped from welding then it shouldn't lock up here.

He does have one of my Race Ports so let's just stay tuned to see the outcome.

Hahahaha!!!! Right, that's not convenient!!!!!! This is good, looking forward to the thread.

Why can't you just chill and wait for the results. No reason to come off as a dick as the results won't effect your life anyways. Every one of your posts is biased towards posi so how bout you let the rest of us who are looking into a port get to keep a thread open that will actually be of benefit.

I whope he didnt go to da saame skul yu did.:poke:

Actually POSI, I appreciate and respect your opinion based on your experience as a moldmaker but you must also consider that castings could have built in stress and that the removal of large amounts of material in critical areas could indeed result in warpage. The rotor clearance is within .002 and if you've done enough of these you have undoubtedly seen rotor to case rub. It would'nt take much actually to lock up IMO. And I have been a Tool and Die maker for 17 years BTW. Unfortunately, you and your comrades are also too biased to be taken seriously, I found it funny you were denying that Bob had your "race port".

Hell, my case was welded up a whole hell of alot more than yours Brian. Mine warped a little bit. I sanded it down where the rotor was hitting the case and all is well. I don't see how that would lock up after it was already on a car. Only thing I can think of is where the lead ins are however, there is quite of aluminum still on the bottom of the sides and the bottom. Plus, there isn't any pressure where the bearings are.

Here's my question about it all...if the results end up showing that Steigy's blower puts out less power than one of the others, do you think he is actually going to admit that or show those results?

Why is there so much hatred with Bob? I'm running his blower on my L and I'm pretty happy. I had a stage 2 on my '04 cobra and put down 478 with a 2.76 upper stock lower. I haven't used Posi, but I'm sure his work is very good also. Some of you guys seem to have a vendetta against him?

I think everyone knows a twinscrew is the best route if you have the $$$$. Hell, Posi even runs a T/S.

Bob posted up a few days ago he had results and would make a thread, yet he hasn't posted anything....

Just do a little searching and read what everybody is bitching about with Bob and Robyyn. No doubt his products make good power most of the time, but it's their attitude on the forums and shady behavoir that has the stone throwers out.

Not anymore. I gotta run what I sell.

I think my Eaton is on its 4th time on the car. Or maybe 3rd. I can't remember.
