It is an inferior car, even when modded. Thats not saying the 03/04 mustang svt was not a great car for what svt had to work with because it was just that. A great car! However to say its even close to the gt500 is laughable.

At what an overall car? Yeah agreed. True me it doesn't take much to put a Terminator on a GT500's level performance wise. And no it doesn't. If you want to go by performance #'s then yes they are pretty close. If a 03/04 Cobra isn't close to a GT500's performance then lets say a C6Z(or even a base Vette with their new performance package) straight slaps a GT500 into yesterday.

When did I mention performance levels? The gt500 does perform better but that is not what separates it!
i like the 10`s & drove a couple i liked it alot but i love my 03 & wont be getting rid of it
One thing I've noticed with Termi owners, is that they are very defensive.....don't know why

I wouldn't stress to much. At $20,000 more you can swap out some interior pieces and make an 03-04 just as nice. I'd take a gt500 over a terminator anyday........ but that's only if I wasn't making the payments on it.
Guys take it from me as I was deciding between another terminator or a gt500. If you took a new 04 cobra and stacked it up against a new gt500, im sorry you dont have 20,000 dollars worth more of a car, you just dont

Yes it's worth 20,000 more. A terminator and an old 5.0 are on two different playing fields. There is so much more in the terminator.
Just like you feel a Terminator is worth $10k more than a Fox, there are people here that feel that a GT500 is worth $20k more than a Terminator because there is so much more. :idea:
Personal opinion I guess if you have the money to blow why not. I like the gt500 alot more personally but there is no way I could swing a car payment for one.

Personal opinion would be to get an old 88 5.0 that weights 3000+ lbs and put a good blower and tires on it. It will not make the same type of power but to put 500hp in a package that weights 500lbs less than the 03/04 and your good to go!:beer:
