You would be a great asset for national security matters. You managed to notice: Is not a bad looking cage, its a muffler shop, its a 25.5 cage, is not a funny car, its not a full chassis, AND i had a lot of beer!!! And all from a pic!! Im impressed really...

If you realllyyy want to get technical. Its same as Jareds cage with a 25.5 update to be able to run 7.49. But that's probably over your head anyway. I bet they didn't build the update. Probably bought it and just welded it in. Big deal......:rollseyes....:p

Just trying to catch up on what happened at Bradenton.

I heard a lot in the first couple of days about Evo's car but nothing about their results.

Can anyone bring me up to date on what happened at the track with their car? Weren't they running the new 3.6KB blower? What happened in the competition? Did anything happen to their engine?
There was so much news in the beginning ....then silence....

Also what exactly happened to Lethal's car that weekend...is the engine OK?

....and what happened to Sfadchi's new engine? Kinda sounds like it might of had some internal issues? I hope that's not the case after all he went through building it. I would be interested to know what happened.

There are many who are considering building "bullet proof" bottom ends to support our higher HP levels and it would be nice to hear of any issues that other's may have had so they could be avoided.

Thanks in advance for any info you can provide to bring some light on these cars.

Sfadchi's idea of street car: 1200rwhp, 8.5 certified cage, E85, and 2 power adders! Technicaly 3 since the turbos are twins!

I think the only thing with the whole street car stuff with EVO is their claim of it being a street car. You and I can call anything a street car.

Me personally seeing as though is 2010 and things have evolved a little since the 60's believe you can have a very fast car with full accessories.

Evo car..
1. Race brakes
2. No power brakes
3. No anti-lock
4. 3 speed auto...No overdrive and a loose converter. No Road Trips!!!
5. No AIR CONDITIONING....I'm in Florida it's a must
6. No sure but I'm pretty sure it has no power steering.
7. Runs on C16....$15 a gallon

To me and I'm sure many others those a creature comforts we all enjoy..

Now Snake500....You can truly have a 1200rwhp(on $2.20 a gallon pump gas) street car and drive it anywhere...Come on down and we'll go for a ride. I can show you how to shift too.

Just saying. The sad thing is know it's true and just want to bust nuts...But it's all good.

Tony, in your opinion, what do you guess Evo's car would run if it had all the amenitys you mentioned?

That's a tough question. If it was a 6-speed car so much would depend on the driver and suspension set-up. I think they make power for very low 9's.

That would be real funny but you're not describing my car. You're describing Tony's car. Which yes is a street car that still gets 20+mpg on $2.20gal fuel. I'd like to see you take a car with no overdrive and $15gal fuel, no A/C, no power steering, one seat in the front, and no power brakes on a road trip. You two clown know the difference, you just like to nut swing, but it's all in good fun.

Now my car on the other hand will be whole different creature, but I will not talk about it till it's done! :D

This

These are nice cars

If I wanted no OD, PS,PB etc, I'd throw that 434 SBF together in my garage, dump it in a 2500# fox body and go 8.6s all day on a moderate shot of juice for the price of an Evo 3 speed

To me there is something said about a 9 sec 6 speed/full optioned car like Bull, safachi, and Lethal have put together :beer:

The really technical part was a joke. I just pointed out that you don't have a cule to what your talking about. Funny Car that's funny. If you had ever done any chassis work. It would of only taken a glance to tell what it is. No detective work involved. You are just clueless. Yes its all good and very funny. We call you "bench racers".....

Or better yet you could go all out, built a jet car and run 5's @300+mph. Last i checked we were talking about Shelbys. Also i agree about all the cars you mentioned, just dont understand why Evo's car was not included in your list, when it did that 3 years ago??

You are 100 % right there is something to say about a 9 sec 6 speed/full optioned car , we did it 3 1/2 years ago with stock blower.

Mu thought exactly bro. Just in case some question the fact that it was high 9's and not mid 9's, i will add it was with a few hundred hp less, and an iron block!
