Sorry guys had work all day and some road clearing to do after . Yes I am in Ocala . We have a lot of low lying areas that flood during thunderstorms so this made them 50 times worse . Almost every station in town has power and no fuel lines today , my power was on when I got home @ 21:30 . So glad to have AC and laundry !

I lost part of my roof and the ceiling in that room collapsed. I need to replace the entire thing because we also lost a bunch of shingles. We got power back Wednesday but then it went back out Thursday, I imagine they were clearing the trees that fell near my house. My fruit trees took a beating as well. Luckily my work put me up in their resort so my family was safe. Been working non-stop to ensure the community I support is taken care of as there is still no power out there but we are managing and it could have been much worse.

Good luck and be safe.

Between the 4 masses at my church parish, we donated over 7,500 dollars for the hurricane victims. Another parish not far off, in the same parish collaborative, collected over 4,700 dollars.
I thought we might have had another hurricane collection today, but we did not.

Looks like we're going to get some of Jose's wrath on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Buckle up. Maria is cooking up to possibly hit Florida :(
Little early to tell but is a worrying issue.

None of the models have it coming close, yet. (GFS or ECMWF)

If anything, the Carolinas need to watch Maria as it does get closer to them.
hopefully it's an OTS storm.

Maria doesn't appear to be much of a threat to the US. The most recent models predict she'll go to the east of the Bahamas.
