@CobraBob - Ask if your installer will take cash if you want to save a little. Guy I use, I'll get a flat rate using cash vs paying taxes and whatnot.
I'd love to meet Glenn. Unfortunately, October is a tough time for me to take vacation. We'll see what happens next year. You're good then. All of my windows are tinted. But I don't have them limo dark. Just enough to get down the sun.
You'll have to come out again sometime, but in October so you can meet Glenn.
Thanks for the suggestion.@CobraBob - Ask if your installer will take cash if you want to save a little. Guy I use, I'll get a flat rate using cash vs paying taxes and whatnot.
Thats like saying all water is the sameI'd throw 3M tint on it and be fine with it. No need to overthink; it's just tint and does everything in your 'pro's' list.

Both of mine are Oakleys too. Hmm...That might depend on the tint. I have regular tint on my vehicles and would get a little rainbow affect with my polarized sunglasses. They were Oakleys if that makes a difference.
…at least not until June.Ray Ban Aviators.. I don't get this rainbow.
crazy how dark it looks on a white carSo I had my windows ceramic tinted yesterday (35% on the sides and rear, and 50% on the windshield). I'm extremely pleased with the work and the overall look. Only negative was that I had to drive to the shop and from the shop in a bad rain storm. First time my G-70 has seen rain, so she was a bit confused.
Here are a few photos from yesterday as she sits in the garage soaking wet. I have to wash her in about 20 minutes and then I'll take a couple of photos outside.

I'm wearing polarized Oakleys and have ceramic tint on my wrx and don't have any issues. I do see the ghost image on other cars windows when I'm driving but not on my windows. Ceramic is the way to go, I still need to do the windshield though. Both of mine are Oakleys too. Hmm...

I figured it out - my aviators are not polarized..…at least not until June.
Wow I was literally about to come here and ask a window tint question. Not to hi-jack the thread but I just had my windows tinted 3 states away (stupid I know) and when I got home I realized there is a bubble thing at the bottom that is not going away. It has been at the bottom for weeks now. I pushed it out with a credit card 4 or 5 times and it comes back in an hour or two. Anyone know how to fix this? The place that did it is a many hour drive away.
Steady hand and an exacto knife.
Cut as small of a slit as possible. If the tint is adhered correctly you'll never get the air out through the side. Basically pop it and then push it down flat.Cut it open?
