I was changing the oil today and noticed oil residue on the intercooler piping. I checked around the head unit and saw oil around the discharge side. Any ideas what the problem could be?
The car starts right up when cold but if I drive around for 30 min or so, it has a hard time turning over. Any ideas? IAC valve? Coil Pack? Other fuel related issue? You can hear the car cranking fine, it just struggles to turn over. Car is a 96 Cobra with a Vortech.
Thanks
I'm having an issue with my T56 getting stuck in gear while slowly rolling to a stop. Once the car stops, I have to either physically pop it out or hold the clutch in till the car gets rolling again. Does anybody have an idea what this could be? Tranny or Clutch issue? It seems the slower...
Going to be installing a Vortech T-trim on my car and planning to run about 12 pounds of boost. Right now all I have is the head unit, bracket, and coolant cross over. I compiled a list of what I think I will need but would like to get input on if I'm missing anything, or if I should upgrade...
What's the best method or product I can use to bring the wheels back to life? I've only used Meguiars All wheel cleaner when washing and Poorboys wheel sealant a couple times so I'm not sure what caused this. Wheels are Satin Black HREs that are maybe 4 years old. I'll post a picture tonight...
I just installed a Mcleod RST twin disc and everything seems to be fine except I have a loud rattle when the clutch is not engaged. I thought it would be a simple fix with the firewall adjuster, but the noise is there whether the adjuster is turned clockwise or counterclockwise. Is this a TOB...
I borrowed a friends SLR and took some pictures before I had to give it back. This is the first time I've ever shot with one so go easy on me. I left the camera on auto focus and just left the F Stop on what my buddy had it set to. He uses the camera mostly for taking head shots so I figured...
Pretty sure mine is starting to go out as the car will crank over slowly, skip a little, and sometimes freewheels where it sounds like its cranking too long. The battery and alternator are fairly new and voltage is normal. I hear the starter is not easy to get to and the top bolt can be a real...
How would you guys get these out? Wheel centers are brushed aluminum with a clear coat and the scratches/scrapes are inside the lug holes. Could I use Meguiars scratch x? Or are there better products? Or am I sh*t out of luck?
Thanks
I have for sale two Michelin PS2 tires in a 255/35/19. I bought the tires this week and put less than 50 miles on them. I didn't like how the 255s looked on a 19 X 8.5 inch rim, so I stepped down to 235s. I paid close to $800 for tires ($340 each) and willing to let them go for $500 OBO...

I'm having custom wheels made and the company is asking for the part number of my 00R calipers to check fitment. I went to the Brembo website and their contact info number was out of service :bs: Does anyone know where I could get the part number? I'm assuming the Ford part number will do...
I'm sending my wheels in for refurbishment and not sure what center finish to get. Should I keep the gloss black finish, or go with brushed aluminum.
Here are some pics of my car currently...
Here is a 98 with the same rims in brushed (only picture I have of it)...
Just recently bought the wheels I've always wanted so my SALEENS are now up for sale. The fronts are 18x9 and the rears are 18x10. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 2s with 245/40/18 in front and 295/35/18 in the rear. I bought the wheels alone last year for $800. One of the rears had a...
My HREs should be here tomorrow and I'm just wondering the proper way to clean them. The wheels are used, and look to have black painted centers with a clear coat, and polished lips. Would Poor Boys wheel sealant be ok for them? How about the polished lips?
Has anyone else had trouble aligning the holes on the wing with those on the trunk? I couldn't get them to align perfectly and now one of the top holes on the wing is stripped after trying to screw the bolt in.:cuss: Doesn't really make sense because the wing itself sits perfectly on the car.
The bracket that attaches the rear, right side E Brake cable snapped in half this weekend causing the cable to rub against the back side of the wheel. The chewed up cable is now being held by a zip tie temporarily until I find a new bracket. I found a new rear cable at the Tousley Parts site...
18X9s with the rear offset and silver finish. They have a few nics on them but overall they are in good condition. I bought these last year thinking they were the front offset. I never mounted them and they have been sitting in the original SALEEN boxes in my garage. I paid about 330 for...
I'm looking for a new rack to put in my 96 Cobra. I came across a guy selling a new 00R rack (part # SPR VT) for 650 shipped... What do these typically go for?
Thanks
