Picked up this 05 hse as a new daily, anyone have one of these on the board?

So if everyone is catching a ton of oil, I know I do... What does that say about the rings? Blow by isn't good, do our cars just normally have a crap load of blow by? Generally speaking if your oil smells a little of gas your rings are washed, my oil always smells of gas, do most cobra...

Just put the car back together... First start it ran perfectly, I let it idle and filled the intercooler res... Let it cool, took it out for a drive, as it warmed up it started making this harmonic type whine, sounds like a bad power steering pump at idle, but as you walk the RPM's it just gets...

Its been a while since I've done this, do those just go nowhere? They're just below the egr and next to the back of the drivers side fuel rail...

How big of a mess was your intercooler and lower intake? I'm not talking about spilled coolant... I'm talking about oil, carbon, etc. My lower intake had a nice slick of oil pretty constantly over it, some burning score marks at the outlets... The Intercooler is completely gummed up. My air...

My blower is making a horrible noise! It just whines and knocks at any RPM, knock goes away under power, but the whine gets louder and louder, sounds like a bad bearing or something... Regardless I decided to pull the blower, I'm 1/2 way through removing it, decided to peek into the eatons...

So I pulled the oil filter off, cranked down the threaded section the filter screws into... I thought the problem was fixed... Not so much! It still drips coolant when cold, but not anywhere near as much as before... How tight should this thing be? Maybe a bit more? Its hand tight...

I drove it today, it doesn't always leak coolant, but sometimes on cool down it'll puke out tons of coolant... So I started driving it at 6am I thought I had the issue resolved several times but now I see exactly where the leak is coming from... Where the oil filter is seated... It drips...

Did a search, found nothing... Aside from buying one of those rice headlight housings with the halo lights, leds, and other light show trash, has anyone just retro fitted a lense into the stock housing? Is there an aftermarket housing that looks stock aside from perhaps an HID lense?

How many of you guys hear marbles in the blower on your stock or ported Eaton?

Been banging my head against a wall for over a month now trying to locate this leak... I thought I had it pegged as some coolant was creeping by the crossover tube cap... So I replaced that, a week later coolant is still dripping out! It drips from near the oil filter, drivers side...

I haven't had time to get this car jacked up to see what's really going on, but two times now it has lost coolant while parked for more than an hour... First time it happened I was at a movie, came out to a puddle under the car, drips looked like they were coming from the k-member, not really...

I don't know enough about the inner working of either to argue with my friend... But he basically told me the innovate is trash and the dynojet is what I should have went for... My understand is they do exactly the same thing:shrug:

While it's still in the car? The intercooler cap is in the way of one of the bolts to remove the eatons snout... I'm wondering if that nipple on the cap can be pulled out without destroying the cap... If I can get that out I'll have enough room...

Pulled my old chip out, tune was way out of date... Did a, "pulley tune," with the predator, then leaned it out a crap-load, made some other "tweaks" Such a different car... Completely forgot what the car was like when the tune wasn't screwed up. Is there a database of predator tunes around?

I have a predator, I have a stand alone innovate wideband xd-16... I read on their page you can run a plug-in that will allow a laptop running logworks to pull info from the predator as well as the a/f from the wideband and let you tune in real time... Having what I have now, what else...
