has anybody had to trim the rubber elbow to get the kit to even go under the hood? got it all put together and point blank it had to be trimmed to fit. looks okay but just wondering if anyone else has had to do this

i have a completely stock 99 white on white cobra vert thats a DD(workin on some pics), deal is i know the jlt cold air kit on their site is suppose to make around 16 to 20 hp and the ram air is only suppose to make around 8 to 12 or something like that but you can remove the right headlight...
