What does the 820/21a stand for? Track pack?
Wider tires? I thought same size tire on 820a/821a?
No. SVT Performance Pack wheels aren't really "upgraded". The rims are different LOOKING but are exactly the same size (19"x9.5" front and 20"x9.5" rear) and construction as the Base model. The spoke configuration and coloration are all that's different between them. Both wheel types come with the same Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2 tires (P265/40ZR19 front and P285/35ZR20 rear)...Ahhh...gotcha. does the better model come with wider tires on the upgraded rims?
I believe the shifters are the same, but the KNOB/BALL is different. Base model shift knobs have stripes, while SVTPP knobs do not. I'm not aware of any differences in the gauge cluster.the track pack says it has a unique shifter and gauge cluster...is this true?
The 821 adds electronically adjustable shocks, different spring rates, and a Torsen differential. The track pack adds stiffer springs, trans cooler, rear end cooler, and different engine cooler.
Is there a slight difference in the steering wheel between a 820 and 821 package?
Close, track pack is ONLY the 3 coolers, everything else is performance pack.
+1 and +1. :beer:No I do not believe there is.
