They almost tried something crazy for the SN95 and they never followed through. We'll see I guess.

5.0 is supposed to have DI and 460 hp. 3200-3400 lbs. The size of the Hyundai Genesis coupe.

That actually sounds pretty good...hopefully they don't make it look like ass. And hopefully they put a beefy IRS/axles in it that will handle some power.

Make it even lighter with an ecoboost v6 and aluminum chassis. If they could get it down to 3000-3200 lbs and 50/50 weight distribution, I would not care if it had a solid axle or not. Sell me a mustang that can run mid 11's with a tune and get around 33-35 MPG and you have done a good job.

would be nice to see the stang go to a more futuristic look. also making it a little smaller and lighter would be great.

Aluminum is not likely with a unibody.

I think 3400# would be a good, realistic weight for a 2+2 coupe with a V8
