Always wanted the IRS exhaust look, was waiting for an IRS swap but never found anything local, so after researching what was needed to install the IRS exhaust on a solid axle, i bought a local stock low mile termi exhaust. i polished the exhaust then bought some IRS super 40 flowmasters off a member here. So about 3 weeks ago my friend and i decided to install them, we welded my 4" exhaust tips on the exhaust and installed them with the stock mufflers,(only lasted 1 week) next weekend we took them off and welded the super 40s in, final product is a two piece catback, we modified it so the tail pipes clamp over the outlet pipe of the flowmasters and welded some hangers on the flowmasters, so if i ever i have to lift my car i can just remove my tail pipes (which makes it to dumps pretty much), all comments welcomed!! should probably put my flame suit on just in case lol
EDIT: couple more car pics on page 2
The stock catback (i had already polished drivers side)
The mufflers i bought off a member here
Followed 04Sleepers write up, did the test to make sure it was worth my fingers lol
All polished up
Tailpipe widened to fit over outlet of muffler
Mocking up the exhaust (drivers was wrong but obviously fixed before we welded it together lol
Aligning the pipes and exhaust tips is a BIG PAIN but well worth it
Final Product
an extra GoPro shot
quick exhaust video
