We went up Friday to spend all day drooling over things we cant have. From the cars, to the vendors, to the food selection and the people watching, its a great time. This is my 10th year attending and I don't think we will ever stop going. Weather was in the low 70s, absolutely perfect.

1,611 cars sold totalling more than $130 million in sales. $92 million in sales Saturday alone. The Ron Pratte Collection accounted for $40mil in sales.

Top 10:

• 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake (Lot #2509) – $5.1 million
• 1950 GM Futurliner Parade of Progress Tour Bus (Lot #2501) – $4 million
• 1954 Pontiac Bonneville Special Motorama Concept Car (Lot #2500) – $3.3 million
• 1949 Talbot-Lago T-26 Grand Sport Franay (Lot #5087) – $1.65 million
• 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 Roadster (Lot #5090) – $1.595 million
• 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing (Lot #5075) – $1.1 million
• 1937 Mercedes-Benz 320B Cabriolet (Lot #5086) – $1.045 million
• 1936 Delahaye “Whatthehaye” Street-Rod (Lot #2515) – $671,000
• 1991 Ferrari F40 (Lot #5071) – $643,500
• 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300S Cabriolet (Lot #5076) – $643,500

When you factor in the 10% buyer and 10% seller commissions, plus tickets and vendors, they made well over $75mil putting on this auction.

All pics taken with a cell, sorry if they are blurry

Awesome pics, that Pontiac Concept Car is gorgeous. I remember watching a few years back when it sold live on TV. Thanks for sharing

The V10 motorcycle is a Tomahawk.
It was built by dodge years ago.
It was a non street legal gimmick thing and they made 9 of them.
I'd love to see it in person.

Very cool. Would these elites absolutely shit a brick if you bought that bus with car and actually drove it? Because if I was rich, I'm pretty sure I'd HAVE to have that thing and I would drive it right off the auction floor!

Nice photos. That for posting them. That helicopter with the pontoons was, well, unusual. You have the Hellcat, and now, ladies and gentlemen, you have the HeliCat. :)

It's crazy how often vehicles run through the BJ auctions. Several of those have made the tour 2 or 3 times.

Where were these? I went all over and never found them. Ive seen them at past auctions so it wasn't a big deal.
