BBP: 2014 GT500 vs TT 5.0

Got some runs in the other day with a couple fast mod motors. Tried a couple digs, didn't work. :lol: Cold day, both guys tires were toast...oh well. Winter sucks. GT500 will be getting some mods this weekend.

Damn, thought the GT500 would put up a better fight since the 5.0 is only running at 6psi.

5.0 has about 30-40 HP over the GT500, and no passenger. 5.0 did a little better than I expected.

Damn good runs that's a fast Coyote, if the GT500 had some DRs it would have helped a lot, I know 2013 on stock tires would spin from a 40 or a 60.

Same GT500 from the C7 vid. Same tires lol...but its winter so cut him a break.

5.0 had a passenger. Cant remember what it dynoed. Ill ask and get back.

Coyotes are so impressive. E85 definitely helps him though

5.0 made 642 but backed it down for winter blend E85 to 620.

Nice 5.0! The Gt500 should be doing better after this weekend. The big brown truck didn't get there soon enough last week with the goodies. Hopefully there will be some tires on that truck too.... hint hint :beer:

I'm actually more impressed with the GT500. that dude in the 5.0 was banging gears and was barely walking away form the gt500. a TT is a very quick car.

I'm impressed .. Couple times it walked away hard . Remember boost for boost a 5.0 makes more than a gt500 .. Just new technology and great heads ... I've had both .. These 5.0s are animals after 5000.. Good race . I think both on a sticky tire would be a good race

boost for boost argument is kind of ridiculous. the coyotes enjoy the benefit or curse of 11.1 compression ratio. the heads flow pretty similar.
