JPC here. Had a few diff setups on my car now and the tunes are always great. The customer service is awesome, drivability is great. Car feels strong, looking forward to gettin back out to the track in the spring and have some fun. Justin, Aaron, Eric and Kev are always willing to go the extra mile.

I used BAMA while doing my bolt-ons over several months. Once finished installing everything the car just didn't feel as good as I thought it should, drivability was good though. After doing several logs with them and still not overly thrilled I contacted Shaun at AED and man WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!

He also took time with me, never felt rushed with him.

I'm very impressed with the cars performance now.

No offense to the original poster, but these threads are really getting old. I think the MOD's should clean all this stuff up and keep this a more technical question based section

i have had ALOT of tunes.. sad truth is.. THERE IS NOT A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM!!!. People will debate and argue and stretch this argument but its dumb.. go with the company that will give you the best costumer service and reliability i stuck with bama because it feels as good if not better than my AED tune did and it has a warranty with it. some companies also are specialists in certain things. Lund is great with Forced induction AED is great with E85 etc...

AED - in the middle of my tuning now. Fuel sucks in OKC, so going E85 straight off.

His strict adherence to limiting liability (failure on mine or his part) is what's winning. Although crazy frustrating that he won't tune unless factors are ideal, actually better than ideal.. Its the best piece of mind to know you're doing it right, with the best advice.

I've given him zero $0 for this tune so far, and he's given me TONS of advice (calls/emails). I wouldn't expect that from any tuner for a few hundred bucks 1 time. But, that's his MO and the response to his service/skill is obvious.

You lost your bama tune warranty after you loaded another tuners tune.

Im with you. Have tried and data logged several tunes with not much difference. Some a little leaner and with more timing but hp and trap speeds were very close for each tune.

That would make for a great thread and have it stickied at the top of the page. Then people can make their own judgement based on what tune they would like to choose and eliminate all of this.

The only real difference is drivability and trans set up if you have an auto.

still the reason I won't let Lund tune my car. If you don't pay for remote dyno tuning he doesn't care how badly the tune runs/issues that arise, he won't look at logs.

AED FTW

Lund wouldn't look at my logs because at the time I was strictly N/A
