Lol thanks for proving my point that the raptor is a bro truck.
So the Hellcats a Bro-Coupe then?
Lol thanks for proving my point that the raptor is a bro truck.
Its nice to see that they're making the center hood scoop functional. Even though I like the look of the one that's on the Hellcat better than this one, I was disappointed that it wasn't a functional forward-facing scoop.
I fondly remember hood scoops like ones on the '69 1/2 6-Pak Super Bee and 6-Bbl Road Runner, or the '68 Hemi A-bodies.
The only person I am aware of that has been confirmed quicker with 100% stock car, including the PZeros, is Jay Gustafson, who went 10.9 at close to 129 mph.
Very true. With drag radials and 100% stock, they go 10's. Fast and gorgeous cars. Thanks for proving me completely accurate. I said A bone stock hellcat has ran 10's. And thats 100% factual. Period.

Can you imagine if they lost 300-400lbs?!?
Yeah,....that is pretty crazy. And they'd still be over 4k. Id love to see them match mustangs and camaros. Unfortunately the new platform was scheduled for 2018 but FCA pushed it back to 2021. I believe due to strong sales. Its ridiculous considering this chassis has been around since 04 I believe.
I'm aware of it's intended function. Just an thought.
Curious if the Demon will be offered with a stick as well.
Sent from somewhere in the Twilight Zone.

Do you think only hellcats came with factory freaks? I can assure you if they're "factory freak" hellcats then there are factory freak GT500's, which still have never did what the hellcat did.

If they weighed as much as Mustangs and Camaros that would be something else. They would be sideways in about just every gear. lol
So, the current bodystyle isn't changing till 2021?! I didn't read anything about that on the Hellcat forum. They must be selling rather well. Actually, I know they are. There's always someone new posting that they have one on order or just purchased one.
Depending on the new GT500, the Hellcat Challenger is top of the list of the three cars that I am thinking of purchasing next.
Wow, if he says it, then it is. Good enough for me.Yup. ResumeSpeed (the man) has confirmed 2021. Thats unreal and from what im seeing the new much lighter platform may not even have a V8 available. By then its going to be that tt v6 bs.
This Challenger platform was released in 2008. 10 years is a long run. I'm surprised to hear they want to go out to 13 years.
Could be. If that's what's he is referring too, it's not meant to. Its an air scoop to funnel cool, outside air over the supercharger to cool the SC and engine. Not feeding air into the intake doesn't mean its not functional.
Seen a hellcat today. Almost made me go in a test drive one lol
Also, the LX is based off the late '90s W220 Mercedes. The original lx debuted for the 05 model year I believe. The challenger platform is based of the lx. Just a shorter wheelbase.
