My best at Maryland was a 1.55 60' on the nitrous on a 10.22@134. When we ran at the shootout my car was full weight spare tire and all. I have since removed 145lbs. and worked on the suspension some. The car cut a 1.38, 1.39 and a 1.41 60' at the local 1/8th mile track. Those 60's are on the nitrous. Cut a 1.51 60' with just the blower. It ran [email protected] on stage 5+ ported eaton and [email protected] with a 125 shot. I'm going this coming weekend to Rockingham Dragway (1/4 mile) and I'm going for 9's. The car is still on a stock long block, 6-speed and IRS. If the track will hook it it's going to be close.

The air should be great this weekend, at least it's supposed to be here. Isn't Rockingham the track that they call the "house of hook". If that's it, I hear it's like a 1/4mile strip of glue. Congrats on the new best and good luck this weekend. That car is makin some power.

Welp..broke another axle today after pulling 2 new best 60' times. I moved the launch rpm to 5,300 for these better 60's (in the high 1.4's).

1.50 60' first pass I believe..11.0 wtf..
1.47 60' next pass 11.0..wtf
Cooled car for 15 mins, 1.47 60' again, missed 2nd.

At this point I was pissed so I dropped at like 5,800 and snapped an axle. Im beginning to think a 1.47 60' is all these axles will take. Thought I would have went 10.8x on my clean 1.47 pass but I think the cross wind was holding me back, I was turning the car towards the wind at the 1,000 just to keep it in the groove. Yeah well, fun day all in all. Not sure what to do at this point with the rear. I really like this irs but don't want to spend 1,900 bucks on a set of freakin axles.

Awesome 60' Cory, to bad the it broke. I can't believe it didn't run a 10 with that 60', it had to be the wind killing it.

Congrats Mo!!! Great improvement. Your best run today has the same 60' and MPH as your 10.85 a few weeks back. Just dropped 13/100's off your ET. And that 1/8th MPH is smokin!! What changes have you made since your 10.85 run?

Stinkapuss.................10.85 @ 126.65 w/ 1.57 (6spd/IRS)

Congrats on the great 60's!

I know a lot of poeple enjoy the IRS but I was very happy to see it go. Pulling it out should have been my first mod. The only thing that is tough is that all that weight comes right off the back tires. If you sell the IRS and catback you can be back on the road with a built solid axle for less then the cost of new set of axles.
