Buddy of mine sent this to me middle of this week. He was driving and smelled something odd so he pulled over and popped the hood to see his fuse box on fire and watch that high grade aluminum burn to the ground. Sucks for him because he barely had the truck for a month.

If only a month old it will probably get replaced. Especially if Ford wants to avoid some VERY negative publicity.

Wow, that really sucks. Only had it a month. At least he wasn't injured.

Glad he's okay! This same thing happened to one of Fords test trucks when something caught fire under the hood and then it burned to nothing.

That aluminum produces quite a show when burning. Maybe that could be a GM's next advantage angle.

Gee thats nice. My K9 service vehicle is a 15 ecoboost. I did some google searches and it didnt appear this has been a recurring problem...yet
