I thought the Boss was forged from the factory. Why do you need to replace the rotating assembly to turn up the boost?

The car is a GT, not a Boss. I wanted the Auto so I went with the GT. Auto is not offered in the Boss.

Boss has the same crank and rods as the GT, only difference is the balancing and the Boss has forged pistons. Or so I have read.

i like the idea of dropping the k-member, might mean a extra step but it will make installing anything from the underside a whole lot easier.

He removed the K member so that he can remove the oil pan to have the pan properly plumbed into rather than using the standard tap. No chances of pushing metal into the pan and it will look much better too. No one will ever see it but him but that how Kevin works - do it the right way or dont do it at all.

Boss has better rods. They aren't really a true forged rod, but better than GT rods none the less.

Yep I'm in for this one. Exactly what I want. New 5.0, auto and twins.
Great choice in wheels, they really set the car off.

I agree with you 100%, as I also want the auto. I will be watching your build thread closely.
