Chris has sent out his parts should be arriving on Thursday.

Still waiting for:

Peddle Set
Yoke
Hurst Shifter/Ball/Boot
Slave Cylinder
Sent back the clutch to LFP in exchange for the 26 DFX Spline since I will be aiming for 700-800 hp
small bits and pieces here and there

Scott has his garage in total kaos right now but I think next week we will have a 9K lift sitting in his driveway ready to help speed up the project.

We could have started already but last time we took on a large project it sat in my shop/garage for 2 months waiting on parts. Once we have everything, then I start unbolting, cutting, swearing, drinking, etc.

Finally some pics for your viewing pleasure. These are all the parts you will need for this project. There are still a few small things that we are waiting on.

Also... everything here is from a SV on this site! (with the exception of the tranny itself but Steve at Tousley (spelling?) Ford can get it for cheaper than what we paid).

Thanks to LFP for the flywheel, clutch package and Liberty spline upgrade. Chris Nelson for the hurst shifter, ball, boot, and ARP fastners, and FORDSVTPARTS for the stock stuff needed to make this work.

I really dont understand why you want a manual tranny in a fast vehicle?

Auto's are faster for 1/4 mile time... other than a cool factor?

I would just like to see the 5 speed auto in our trucks, or a 6 speed auto...

Autos still shift faster.....

Ever seen an automatic ferrari, corvette, porsche, etc? Its what he wants and he doesn't have to explain himself to anyone. If you comments aren't going to help, go away.

(I am really cranky tonight.... this post just rubbed me the wrong way. Sorry if this seems harsh)

What a PIA that was to get off the bed!

Looks like I may finish up the battery relocation first and when Scott gets back from Vacation this thread will be quite active with info and pics
