Well see what happens, I have a set of Hid from my last truck and these came with some. But IMO the 08-10 was the only front end that looked right when I dreamed up this paint job, just wait, there's a few ideas I've got running around in my head I plan on throwing in, but I'm nt gonna clue anyone in just yet. ;-)
If all else fails, you can always retrofit some projectors into 08-10 headlights. Give you the chance to paint match, or do whatever with the interior of the lamps.

When get to 16inches of lift a short bed just looks unpropirtional IMO
Damn. This will be a fun daily. I assume you will definitely be gearing this thing up? haha

Don't need to it has 4:10s from factory and will spin the 37 inch tires. But I'm gonna replace diffs and cover so I might as well step it up... Undecided yet

Gloss black and making a candy Harley orange, I promise there's a lot more to it, but I don't want to ruin the surprise :burnout:

Is the 08-10 a bolt on deal or is there some fab work to be done on the core support. Can't wait for the finished product.

That will look sexy as hell!

As for the gears, were the 4.10s and option? I thought they were given 3.73s standard. I think that's what my dad has at least.

farthest thing from bolt on there is... ive searched and searched for hours over the time span of a few months and ive only found 2 other people to do it, so that woul make me the third ever... one of the two has been in seveal magazines and was at sema last year, so im hoping to follow in the footsteps

I'm curious to check his VIN code now. Lol

As for the 08-10, it will be nice. There definitely aren't that many people that have done it. I know that you do have to basically put on an entire new fort clip, fenders, rad support, etc. definitely not cheap.

Are you saying only two 7.3s that have done it? Because i want to say i've seen a handful of 6.0 guys do it already. If you're going through all that hard work, why not go 2011+?

id like to see how theyre doing it because fitment is a bitch, kindajust decided i liked the look of an 08-10 better. Plus i can find the parts in a salvage yard, ive never seen a 11+ locally

Began at 7am this morning by cutting off leaf springs

had a little patchwork to do

sanded frame with some 80 grit on a da, and shot a gloss black on it. Three very thick, heavy coats.

This truck wil never see leaf springs again

Primed helmet

Believe it or not this took me nine and a half hours just to do all that... Along with some other small things here and there. Hopefully can start selling off some of my old body panels, wheels, tires, and electronics, so I can start fabricating mounts for airbags and figure out where I can hide the compressor
