I just read today that there is supposed to be a performance G-70 launched soon. That could be a V8 model. The Tao 5.0 is not available on the G70- yet. It sure would make one hell of an addition to the lineup!

Very nice.
Now THAT is great news. Yep, I just checked and sure enough, they have a distribution center in Windsor. About a 30 minute drive. I'll have to buy the winter tire/wheel package before I turn in my Edge Sport. Thanks for the tip.Nice looking. Tire Rack has a distribution center outside Hartford. You can order a winter tire/wheel package for pickup and save $100 on shipping.
UPDATE: Just cancelled my pre-order with my original dealership. 6 days and they've done nothing. And no follow-ups from the salesman. And my last two calls/messages went unanswered. Frustrated, I called a larger dealership in Danbury and drove there late this morning. I was introduced to a great salesman who listened intently to what I wanted and showed me what they had on the lot. I ended up switching to Himalayan Gray (similar to Dark Shadow Gray) and also decided I wanted the Sport package since overall it presented a much sportier appearance. Genesis of Danbury immediately got on the computer to locate my car (found two, one in NY and one in NJ). I will know by Monday if either one is available, and if not, they will order it from the factory on Monday. I can then tell them if I want one of the two they found or if I prefer to order it direct from the factory and wait about 45 days.
Here are some photos of the G70 3.3T Sport in Himalayan Gray.

The Sport package I decided to go with replaces regular chrome with dark chrome. It also includes Brembo brakes, dark tinted front headlight bezels, black 5-spoke wheels with 225/40ZR19 (front) & 255/35ZR19 (rear) Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires. I'll have to now buy a set of wheels/tires for winter use, but the summer tires will provide improved grip.
So now the actual countdown begins.
That's a nice looking Lincoln.Bob - If it doesn't work out, then you can get this and use your LMS tuner to make some magic happen: https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/768038197/overview/
