As the thread title states, what are you Paxton 2200 guys trapping? Really looking for some of you 2200 guys to post up what your best trap speeds are. Auto, manual, three on the tree, whichever. Just state the fuel you're using, pulley and PSI, trans (if auto state converter, if manual state clutch setup), and what the 1/8 and 1/4 trap speeds were.

Just curious

I'm auto with a PI converter 3200-3400 stall. I trapped 103/132 on 93 octane and 3.6 pulley. I recently went to a 3.33 pulley and E85, I got completely out of the throttle 3 times because of traction issues and it still trapped 101/133.

I think ronnies was the quickest on e85 with some 8.9's

don't remember his trap speed, they are 8 second blowers with the right combo.

let me know if you need any help with anything Paxton / vortech

Damn high trap for the 3.6 and pump gas setup.

A 3.33 with e85 will go 137+ all day long.

Problem is belt traction. If you are going to run a 3.33, don't dick around and do it right. You'll need 8 rib and tall gears like 3.31s or deeper.

Only speaking from experience.

There is a guy on FB running a 3.33 pulley on e85 with no wastegate running I think 10.3's on big DR's and trapping over 135, might be 138.

On these I am curious about the ET as well. Seems like Paxton cars trap well, but don't necessarily ET as well.
Stock converter or manual cars with mediocre drivers that can't 60' well is probably the reason behind this.

sold the car but it was a 13 with tremec swap stock bottom end WG with a 3.33 6 rib boost was 10.7 gauge in logs with meth on DR's 11.05 at 136 1/8 was 102. The new owner is suppose to get back to me he has slicks now and my previous 60 was 1.7-.1.9 so not the best didn't want to rip the rear end out so it was slipping the clutch at 3000 or so and walking the car out. Lund tuned installed by beefcake aka finishline performance. Next build will be turbo but being budget sensitive paxton/vortech is the best bang for the buck with stock bottom end...

Stock motor go boom!

Wastegate it and it'd be fine.

I saw that this morning actually. Car made 707whp 606wtq from what he said. Trapped 137.

8 rib would be the only way to go on a Centri. I'm doing 3.31's this winter regardless as to if I go On3 or Centri.

I don't think it is. It was only 12* of timing so it was a pretty conservative tune.

Depends on what you consider a good ET I guess. On 93 octane and 3.6 pulley as long as I launched off the line extremely easy I could cut 1.6 60's and I could run 10.6's all day long. My best 60ft is 1.52 still coming off the line kinda easy and I ran a 10.48. I've never been able to come off the line full throttle, so no telling how fast I could have gone on that setup if I could actually launch the car.

Sure it would be fine with wg but it also won't go 137+

Save the money on the 8 rib and get the 20% overdrive ATI HB (need it anyway if you go 11.5 or faster). Then pulley up on the blower to keep same boost levels, no more traction issues.
